CONFERENCE ON THAI LAW
The Phuket Bonjour Club regularly organizes conferences on various topics of interest to the French-speaking community on the island. The next one is scheduled on the theme of Thai Law applied to foreigners. It will take place on Friday, November 24, 2023 (free entry but with prior registration), from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the French and International School B.C.I.S. in Chalong (registration from 5:30 PM), and will be conducted by:

Former Prosecutor in Phuket, Mr. Artra KHUNTHONGJAN is currently a Prosecutor attached to the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand, working in the Bureau of Corruption and Malfeasance in Chiang Mai (Region 5). Mr. Artra KHUNTHONGJAN is fluent in our language as he completed a significant part of his university studies in France, in Lyon. The conference will therefore be conducted in French. In the allocated two hours, it is not possible to cover all aspects of the law. Therefore, in agreement with the speaker, we have selected a few themes:
- Family law, including divorce and parental authority.
- Succession.
- The acquisition of real estate by a foreigner in Thailand.
- Offenses in Thai criminal law: defamation, fraud, breach of trust, etc.

CHAKRA AWARENESS MEDITATION at Safe Space Phuket
During this Chakra Awareness session, you will be in a sitting meditation for the first half of the session. You will breathe and chant while Sisca bathes you in the singing bowls’ vibration on each of your 7 chakras. The purpose of this is to align, unblock & activate your chakras, or retune the body back to its wholeness.
Each part of the body has a different resonant frequency. A body is in a healthy state when each cell & each organ resonates in harmony with the whole being. When an organ or part of the body is vibrating “out of tune” or non-harmoniously, it can lead to weakness or illness, which is referred to as “disease.”
The sound and vibration of the singing bowls help to calm the mind, de-stress, and relax. They create a range of sounds to restore the normal vibratory frequencies of disease and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind, and soul.
In the second half of the session, you will be in a savasana (laying down) meditation for a complete deep relaxation.
Sisca is a qualified sound healing & therapy practitioner who recently completed her training at Jungala Phuket (Golden Temple Singing Bowl & Healing Centre). Since then, she has been practicing in Phuket, Singapore, and Jakarta.
