(Women Only) Burlesque Dancing with Chrissie – Every body deserves to be celebrated.
Many people assume burlesque is for male gratification. For Chrissie, it is quite the opposite. It is about women supporting each other, empowering themselves and each other, and taking away the shame from expressing ourselves and loving our bodies. Chrissie wants to share that liberating feeling with you!
In the workshop, Chrissie will teach you a routine which we will perform together as a group. It will be fun, and should leave you feeling more confident about your body.
Chrissie was a burlesque performer in Brighton, UK, performing at venues and events (such as International Women’s Day). She joined burlesque to become part of a community of women learning to reclaim and love their bodies, and celebrate all shapes and sizes.
