Let’s share this slow, cozy, and creative moment together over a cup of hot spiced herbal tea, while Christmas Lo-fi tracks are playing in the background.
You’ll create your own scented Christmas candles for yourself or for a gift, just in time for the holidays! Patricia from Southern Candles will guide you on how to craft your personalized scented candle, step by step. All candle-making materials will be provided including soy wax, pigments, essential and fragrance oils, seashells, dried flowers, spices, and natural crystals.
Patricia started creating scented candles in May 2021. She realized that she needed to find that life-work balance and improve her mental health through the power of aromatherapy. This sustainable candle-making initiative started when she discovered her “safe aroma.” That’s right! It’s an aroma that our brain associates with a moment of joy or comfort and that is able to reset our mind and body instantly. Her “safe aroma” is coffee, which played a great role in her personal healing journey.
