In Thai, Chinese tea is referred to as Cha Ceylong.

Before embarking on this culinary voyage, we were treated to a refreshing beverage presented in an elegant traditional silver bowl. The Chef’s drink sets the stage, creating an anticipation for the culinary exploration that lies ahead.
This hands-on cooking class immerses us in the art of preparing two delightful Phuketian dishes: the vegetarian Popiah and the flavorful Mee Sapan.
Popiah is a fresh spring roll bursting with a medley of crisp and flavorful ingredients. Its core features a delicate, thin wheat flour wrapper, distinguishing it from the rice paper rolls commonly found in Vietnamese cuisine. The filling typically includes julienned turnips, carrots, bean sprouts, lettuce, and often tofu or shrimp for added texture and taste. What truly elevates Popiah is its delectable sauce.
